Huntington Beach, California

I purchased this home in Huntington Beach 
December 1990, after I found out I was pregnant

We loved this place, it was so peaceful and safe

Jackie loves to play outside

The school bus behind her is an omen 

as to where she's going in life - okay, so I made it up

Very inquisitive

Where we lived in Huntington Beach

We never missed a parade, Jackie loved the parades

January 1995, we moved to this house but it has since

been torn down to make room for a retail business.

After that we moved to Apple Valley, California

Downtown Huntington Beach

In the building on the right, Jackie saw her second movie

ever, which was Lion King.  It had just been released

We've lived in many cities through the years

but give me Huntington Beach any day...

The Huntington Beach Pier

Downtown stores we visited frequently

Jackie lived 4.1 miles from the ocean

Loved that off-shore breeze and no smog

When the house on Ellis was torn down, we settled for this

simply because it was a 15 second walk to my business

I took Jackie to work with me every single day

She never, ever had a babysitter

 

Surf City USA is an understatement

Jackie was pretty young, but we took her to the beach often

Huntington Beach Surfers are numerous and infamous

We used this area of the beach more often since

Jackie was so young and there were less people

I'm sure Jackie remembers her trips to the wetlands

So many little creatures to observe
